George Myers holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, awarded by the CFA Institute. The CFA designation is one of the most respected credentials in the investment management profession, recognizing deep expertise in portfolio management, financial analysis, ethics, and professional standards. To earn the CFA charter, candidates must pass a series of rigorous exams covering economics, accounting, and investment principles, and commit to ongoing continuing education and adherence to the CFA Institute’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.

Experience

George Myers is a Chartered Financial Analyst who brings 20 years of institutional asset management experience to the advisory practice at Phillips & Company.  George worked as a portfolio manager and research analyst on several multi-billion dollar funds at Columbia Threadneedle and Dresdner RCM that have been highlighted in Investor’s Business Daily and The Wall Street Journal. He earned a Master of Science in both real estate and finance from the University of Wisconsin and has extensive knowledge in real estate investing having covered the REIT sector.  George’s market knowledge and perspective as a fund manager will be particularly useful in the asset allocation and manager selection process.

Community Involvement

Active in his community, George has supported a number of worthy causes including the Children’s Cancer Association, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Boys and Girls Club and The Golden Harvest Food Bank.

Personal Life

When he isn’t spending time with his family, George enjoys golfing and skiing.
